Prime Picks! – The #1 Headphones on Amazon!.mp4

The number one over-ear headphones are these MPOW 059 hi-fi stereo headphones – 35 bucks, 20000 reviews at four and a half stars. Basically, I thought a lot about why people buy these why these have ended up at the top of Amazon why they’re the best sellers and what it comes down to is a lot of expectations positioning and a little bit of luck. But I’ll go over all that at the end. Basically the reasons people just buy super cheap headphones and this especially applies to earbuds is people buying headphones at this price don’t really care about a whole lot. Basically, it comes down to is people buying super-cheap headphones around these prices really only care about a couple of things. What they do care about is number one, how functional and convenient they are. They plug in they’re easy to use. Number two, how comfortable they are. Pretty straightforward you can wear them for a long time and not feel any pain. Number three, how durable they are. I don’t want them to break again. I just want them to last as long as possible with my use and not fall apart early. We’ve all seen cable fraying and plastic cracking. And then last but not least, is how good they sound. Notice this is kind of low on the list and in all honesty by the time you play something that broke, most people are just happy it works and sound quality is not the top priority here.

And honestly this priority list I think explains the existence of what I think maybe the most popular pair of headphones in the world by volume. It’s a pair of headphones that you probably haven’t actually bought with your own money or at least consciously done it. It’s ear pods. Earpods are super functional and super convenient. I mean they come in the box with your phone they’re built and designed for the iPhone. They’re super lightweight so they’re comfortable for a surprising amount of people and then durability and sound are just barely average. They’re good enough but they’re just so convenient. But what if your ear pods break. What if you come up you know that the cable starts to fray something breaks about them. You don’t feel like contributing maybe to Apple’s trillion dollars. So you head over to Amazon and you find the most popular headphones and you just end up with this. The Panasonic ergo fit headphones functional and convenient. Yes. Nine bucks on Amazon next day shipping. This is definitely convenient. They plug right in with a 90 degree Jack assuming you have a headphone jack. I forgot to mention. But assuming you have a headphone jack these are really convenient. They plug right in. They are pretty comfortable mostly because they are super lightweight so the easy forget about in your ear and they don’t make a great seal or anything but there are multiple size rubber tips in the box so you can adjust that durability I think is my biggest concern. This does not look like a cable that would survive very much stress at all it’s kind of thin and wiry. One of those that would like peel apart after a while but it’s fine for now but then how do they sound.

They are they make sounds fun it’s actually harder I think for me to evaluate these than really really good quality headphones because I’m used to hearing a certain range of things but they work. That’s really what matters. You sound fine. You’re not missing any frequencies. They’re not super bass-heavy or super tinny or anything like that. So it’s all right.

All right under these MPOW over-ear headphones. They come in a bunch of colors. I picked red and black. Naturally. I think from some angles they kind of resemble beats like some old beats studios or even the solos from a couple of years ago because of the shape of the plastic and these ear cups but these are 35 bucks so I won’t complain and they are wireless Bluetooth headphones with up to a 20 hour coded battery life. Same as my Bose QC35 and rechargeable via micro USB. Also the same as the Bose. So are they functional and convenient? Yeah I mean is about as much as headphones like this can be they do have some controls on the side so if you’re into that you can play/pause, you can accept and reject calls, volume up and down, and I fold up for travel so I feel like you can bring these just about anywhere any other pair of over-ear headphones will go and they are actually pretty comfortable. They have soft earcups that fully surround your ear. The top band also has a cushion. Plenty of headphones are way less comfortable than this. Durability, these might be about as durable as Beats. I mean they use plastics and a lot of the same places there’s thin metal at the joints. I don’t expect you to be able to beat these up or toss them around but if you do take care of them, they’ll be fine. They’ll just get really fingerprinted. They do not sweatproof like the earbuds though so this is not a workout pair of headphones. And then of course, how do they sound?

It’s weird. This. Is weird hiss when, well when they’re connected. And then as soon as I hit pause when the music stops there’s like a ‘hiss’ for like a second and then it stops and then I play, I press play again, and it comes back and the sound plays but there’s this ‘hiss’. I think it kind of sounds like I’m listening through like a bedsheet. Like if I if I had a like a pillow sheet up to my ear between that kind. That’s what it sounds like. I don’t know.

There’s like slightly muffled like the frequency response probably looks kind of like this. They’re not super bass-heavy which I actually like. I think a lot of headphones that just over exaggerate the bass are easy for me to rip on because they’re clearly doing it wrong. But these they sound all right. Isolation is pretty good too I’ll give you that. You put them on your ears. They’re not noise-canceling but because they surround your ear that passive noise isolation is pretty good.

And then the number one of all wireless headphones on Amazon are these 20 dollar earbuds by MPOW. These are definitely on a sporty slant. So they’re sweatproof. They have this cable, this flat cable, a seven to nine-hour battery life claimed, and they also kind of resemble some sporty beats I’ve seen. They are functional and convenient for people looking for it like wireless earbuds that are way cheaper than air pods for example. These have almost all the same functionality. Obviously no W1 chips so they don’t have quite the same deep integration as air pods that everyone loves but Bluetooth pairing is still pretty easy at this point you can leave them loose kind of just like hang in that cable back here or you can do the wire clamp to fit them on the back your neck like the jailbirds and that’s how they look. So for comfort, there’s still all the different sizes of rubber tips but if you want to change that, you, of course, have them in the box and then the over-ear arch that hooks over is more universal then the wingtip that tries to go up into your ear. I think this is going to fit more people’s ears. The durability of these is actually probably the best of the bunch which is pretty good for 20 bucks. IPX7 water resistance, a decent quality flat red and black cable, rubber and plastic mostly everywhere else, and they come with this case that you can zip them up and they can throw them around in.

Now sound. I would characterize these as functional. They’re definitely a little heavier with the base than the other two. Which is interesting for earbuds but I think again all this falls into a kind of a nice sporty package general. I mean audio files aren’t buying these but when you consider again that these are 20 bucks maybe a little more shipped, that’s cheaper than ear pods and you’re getting a lot more for that price.

So what have we learned here today? Honestly, despite the length of the video, there’s not really all that much to say about cheap headphones. You kind of just hope they work they do what they’re supposed to do they’re advertised maybe one or two extra little features like being sweatproof or having a little thing that goes over your ear to keep them on your ear longer. That kind of stuff is nice but at the end of the day, if they work well, that’s pretty much good enough for nine bucks. That’s why these are Prime Picks. The question of how do they get to the top of Amazon, we could talk about that all day but essentially what it comes down to is, these are about as good as the competition. They are around the same price. They’re a bit on the low side and then basically rise to the top by whatever means necessary and stay there because they’re good enough.

My biggest thumbs up from the number ones that we tested I think would be these MPOW the flame the earbuds. I think they’re the most complete and I represent like a package you can actually recommend for 20 bucks sweat-resistant again, decent quality cable, durability is probably the biggest strength of these compared to what else is on this table. But I could also see myself recommending these for like kids. I mean if they’re like maybe they get their eye on some more expensive fancy headphones and best buy, these kinds of have the same look to them and do almost the same job. I mean if they’re asking for Beats then they probably ready now they want Beats but if they’re asking for nice random black headphones, then these are fine. But that is it. That’s it for Prime Picks. Episode two of the number one best headphones on Amazon.

I have a question for you. If you had to live with one of these headphones for life on this table. Which one would you pick and why? Either way, eliminate all of the categories you’d like to see in the Prime picks series until the next one.

Cowin E7 Pro Bluetooth Headphones – I’m confused.mp4

So Cowin came to their senses finally and sent me some headphones to review that took too long. But I’m gonna go check him out. Right after this.

If you buy headphones on Amazon you probably have come across two brands that aren’t one of the big names. One of those is Bluedio and the other is Cowin. Now they’re both budget brands although they have higher-end headphones and they’ve both been knocking it out of the park for a couple of years. Now, I’m familiar with Bluedio. I’ve reviewed some of their headphones here. I’ve been actually a customer of theirs for many years but I’ve always seen Cowin and I’ve never been able to try them out. But thanks to Cowin I’m actually gonna finally check some out. The E7 pros are here. They’re noise-canceling headphones. I’ve not heard these before. I actually haven’t heard any Cowin’s before. I’m actually kind of excited because I’ve always seen their name around on Amazon.

So let’s get it out of the box.

So here we go. E7 pros – shiny A.F. Man, these things look cool. They’re like super shiny and just like magnificent looking. I’ve never seen headphones that look like this especially at this price. They shine and shimmer.

They seem pretty substantial. The extension here is pretty good. Look like stainless steel here so it feels really good that the top headband is very squishy. There’s like almost an empty part up in here so when I squish it goes a lot less here than it doesn’t. I hope you know what I’m trying to say. And they’re over the ear headphones, you probably all know that’s what I prefer. Putting it on the head. Oh, these feel nice. This is good. Now, I’m going to obviously do my normal review where I play some music and stuff but I did something last time that was really popular so I’m going to do it again this time. So as I said in my last review a lot of people wear glasses and we put headphones on sometimes they don’t fit correctly. So I did a glasses test last time it was hugely successful I got a lot of comments on it. So we’re gonna do it again this time. I did get one comment saying well you know there are different thicknesses in glasses so I’m going to use my sunglasses and see how they fit. So let’s put this on.

You know, jokes aside they fit fine. There’s no additional pressure on my ears. They don’t hurt moving my head around. I don’t feel any additional pressure. So essentially if you wear glasses, these are a go. All right. So I’ll play a couple of different pieces of music on here. You know the ones I normally play. I’m going to try different music this time. I might even instead of dancing. Maybe do something different. So there’s a three-way switch on these things. It’s either on-off or noise canceling. So I’m going to start off without the noise-canceling because as I’ve shown before some of the more budget headphones make the sound worse if noise cancellations on. And every once in awhile better which is kind of weird.

But I’m going to do it both ways and I’ll let you know if these are good with the noise cancellation on or off. I’m going to start with a different piece of music this time. Justin Timberlake Cry me a river.

Let’s hit that up real hard. All right. Volume all the way up. I can still hear myself talking barely but I can. OK. When you’re going to cry me a river first then we’ll go into some other songs that I like to listen to. All right now what are we doing?

All right here’s something interesting. If I move the headphones like this it’s cutting it. It’s almost cutting in and out. It’s a very weird thing. Don’t grab it. Oh, here we go. We’ll break down of course now.

Tell me you love me. Why don’t you leave me all alone? Do you need me when you call me on the phone?

OK, that was without noise cancellation. I think it sounded wonderful. I couldn’t really hear myself but I’m pretty sure I sounded good. So I’m gonna turn the noise cancellation on. Play that same song and then some other songs off camera.

So I just turn on noise cancellation and it kind of went from an area sound. I have no music playing right now from an area sounded like all the kind of air you hear around. I don’t know how else to describe it. It’s just gone away so I’m gonna play some music this way and see what that sounds like. Noise cancellations on my I can’t really hear myself talking but I can hear a difference in the sound.

Okay. I have some thoughts on these and it’s a little bit all over the place. Let me try to explain. So I like the way these fit. They’re not too heavy. Like I said with glasses they work and the sound is actually fine. So it depends on what setting you’re on. Originally I thought I was listening to noise cancellation at one point and without it on the other. But it turns out I’m looking on the switch. I actually had it backward which confuses me because normally when you turn on noise cancellation on headphones you can tell the difference. And I think the confusion came because when I turned it on it sounded brighter and I actually could hear more. And then when I turned it off, it felt like I couldn’t hear as much around me. So I mean it has the features I’m just unsure of like it’s labeled wrong or something I’m not sure. Plus when I move them around they kind of cut in and out. I don’t know if that’s because these have an issue or I don’t really know what’s up with that but I’m keeping honest. I’m a little bit perplexed now whenever you turn it on to this setting where I thought noise cancellation was on but I guess it was off. There was a lot more bass certainly a lot more bass and. But it was kind of like dark all the way through. In other words, it wasn’t just bass. But even the middle and high seemed a little kind of dirty. I think like a real kind of a dark deep kind of sound to them but when you turned it on they went away kind of like what happened with the T5’s. The bass kind of just went away. But the highest and mid sounded actually pretty good to me. So weirdly, depending on what kind of music you’re listening to you might want to switch on or off. If you want to think bass-heavy, you have them off. And if you want something that has better highs and mids, I guess turned on. So this becomes kind of a confusing product to me. I want to check out some other stuff some of their newer stuff to see if they change this because to be perfectly honest I’m unsure where to put this. It certainly feels good. It looks fantastic. These are some of the best looking headphones I have. But I’m unsure if I can actually recommend them. I don’t know. What do you guys think? Check out the reviews on Amazon and see if they kind of go along with what I say in this video John.

Bluedio HT Bluetooth Headphones Review – AliExpress.mp4

First off the Bluetooth which sort of makes them compatible with the future. To be honest it is sort of the future like why have a cord. There’s no point but it means you do have to charge these puppies. But luckily, the battery is exceptional. We got 40 hours playtime, 40 hours as age, is pretty good. Now, what’s bad about these. They’re not made amazingly but in the defense of Bluedio we really trashed these and to be honest, if you were more careful with them, they would be fine and it wouldn’t be an issue. The problem was I was putting them on every day like this. And it’s just not that good for a pair of headphones. You’d see that the other side’s starting to go. This bit is pretty weak on the headphone but if you put them on normally with two hands, they’d be totally fine. Anyway, onto the sound, because that’s where these really excel. The lows on these, you listen to dance, you listen to hip hop, anything with a lot of basses, and these sound great. Think that Beats by Dre good. Beats by Dre, by the way, are only really good low-end. I like the mids on these and the highs were nice and crisp too. I could hear cymbals, I could hear top hats. He’s a solid all around. These are so good that I’m going to compare them to these. These are Sennheiser Momentum’s they’re about 600 dollars. They’re amazing but, to be honest to the average ear, these are in a similar ballpark. If they were made a bit better they’d be even more comparable. These sound good across all frequencies.

But what really good expensive headphones do is separate those frequencies as well. So when you listen to a song on a really expensive pay, you can hear the different parts of the song as if they’re completely separate. Everything is just so clear. It’s almost as if the guitar is in a completely different department of the song to the drum.

That’s something the audio files want but you know it’s not needed by everyone and these are a very good substitute. Apparently 30 dollars you could buy 20 of these for the price of this. You could buy your whole football team a pair of these for the price of this. I think these are as good as the on-air Beats headphones sound-wise. Construction-wise, not quite up to it. The only other major negative I have with these is when the battery is low, it tells you but not in a good way. It tells you every 20 seconds in this quite calm annoying voice every 20 seconds likes to try to lessen the song.

You have to go and charge them. Otherwise, you’ll probably lose your mind. I think it’d be a really good torture method actually to give someone these and play their favorite song and make them listen to it for 40 hours and then towards the end, every 20 seconds that will just now at the coffin that will drive them mad.

Buying Guide:

Before choosing your music companion for life, consider how it could enhance your listening experience. The driver unit is responsible for delivering a great bass experience and better output. You could choose to buy a wireless headphone if cords are not really appealing but wires will save more power. Passive noise cancellation saves battery life while active noise cancellation contributes to draining power.

Types/Tips/How to’s/Maintenance etc.

These headphones must be worn with caution since some of them are not made to endure a high amount of stress. Use both hands in wearing these headphones to avoid breaking the headband. Make sure to charge it completely in order to prolong its battery life.

If you want to have a clear sound coming out of your headphones, Bluedio HT is the right choice. With its 57mm driver, the sound quality and bass are clearly exceptional. It will also accompany you for a longer period of time with a passive noise cancellation function. It has a great way to save power and you can also share your music with your friends!
